About D’Lashay

D’LASHAY  is a native of Nashville, TN. She is a self-appointed advocate for the spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and psychological uprising of the community and abroad. She is a woman who speaks empowerment and uplifting words through television, radio, speaking engagements & literature in an effort to change the mindset and heart regarding their past trauma and current situation.  She firmly believes “To change a nation or a community, we must empower people to believe the motto: where I have gone, what I have been through and where I am does not determine where I am going, what I can be and who I was created to be and my divine purpose. However, I must first believe in myself and change my way of thinking and acting.”

After years of writing motivationals and coaching adolescents in the sport of Track & Field, D’Lashay, decided to step out and explore the deep passion and emotion she often suppressed as it pertain to things that most people are hesitant to discuss and confront.   She initially explored the concept of writing via daily motivations and then started column writing for a local religious newspaper with the column title "Your Daily Dose" by Demeterous Lashay. Eventually an opportunity was extended to her to be apart of a panel of people on a local television talk show. She was not only the Creative Director but often a very vocal guest panelist on "The B-Love Lounge Talk Show"

Because of her charismatic personality and articulation, D'Lashay was extended the opportunity to be the host of Steppin' Out with D.Lashay, a television show that air weekly in a 5 state region. She also spent time as a  weekly panelist for the Stellar Award winning Radio Station "760 AM THE GOSPEL" for "Straight Talk with host Mr. Clarence Kilcrease. While pursuing many of her dreams and goals. D'Lashay has been nominated and recognized for many awards which include being given a proclamation by the state of Tennessee House of Representatives, and the 

D'Lashay has worked on several production projects including film, television drama series, television promotional commercials for advertising, marketing model for major companies, and music video. Many of these companies have included but not limited to "Nashville" television series on ABC, "Checker Cab" modeling promotions, "Fruit Cake" movie for Aubrey Films, "Crazy Hearts" with A & E cable television, Rick Lee Media of Huntsville, Al and etc. 

D'Lashay has mastered the art of event planning, production and event design.  Her business, Kreative Koncepts by D’Lashay launched in May, 2018. She has an internationally known business across the country with a vas clientele of many elite companies, politicians, prestigious colleges and A-List Celebrities. Even with a eminence clientele she is not limited with her creativity and expertise in production.  She has an annual event yearly to empower and motivate called “COMING OUT THE MUD.”

D’Lashay motto:

You can't hang with chickens & expect to soar like the eagles because chicken can't fly!  An eagle recognizes her ability and she is not afraid to spread her wings, fly high and not fearful of being alone.  An eagle will never cluck around with chickens whose wings are useless and will not fly.
